More Back Tracking

Didn't mention yesterday about my stint in the ER a week or so back.

I picked up a bucket of water the wrong way and my back just went. A great grab of pain and I couldn't move without causing more. DS got the bucket out of my hand and I tried to shuffle up the hall to my bedroom but couldn't make it. I knew I had done something serious because my body's re action to a lot of pain is to make me feel dizzy and nauseous. I didn't make it very far before I had to lay down. Then I couldn't get up. Long story, short, I've never had anything like this happen before, DH was at work so I called an ambulance. They got me up and to the vehicle with the help of a Penny Whistle (inhaled pain relief). I sat at the hospital for about 6 hours. Most of which I was twitching. Was given a muscle relaxant, xray showed nothing so I was sent home to rest. That was a Thursday and by Saturday I was back to normal. The twitching was scary though. At one stage it was my feet, then my head. I spilt water down my front and I was stuttering.

But like I said everything back to normal.

I have scanned pics of some of my stash additions so I thought I'd post them here.

This is the Garden Gate Stitchery pattern. Blue Willow has some great little designs at really good prices.

Teapot and cup applique, another from Christine at Blue Willow designs. The wording is "You and me and a cup of tea - perfect". Its actually 2 patterns as it comes with a coffee alternate, with a coffee pot and mug. The wording on that is "Good Friends, Good Times, Good Coffee - Perfect"

This is a pre printed stitchery which has 4 different mini cup designs printed on fabric and the instructions to make the mug bag. I really need one of these as I always end up buying a mug, when I go away because I hate the measly little cups they put in rooms. Ella and Skysie have some great stitchery designs too, again with patterns for useful things. They are shabby chic, I suppose, to Blue Willow's country.

Well, not much else at this stage. I have some ironing to do as well stitching and stuff so I should get to it.

I may be back later with a picture of my new scissors. Scissoroos from the Scissorman.

Hi Susan! Firstly, I'm sorry you injured your back and had a rough time of it. I know back pain, it is NOT pleasant! Secondly, LOVE the new stash additions! I hope you have fun with them!

Hi again, Susan!! What is with all the "different" comments? I clicked on one of the links in mezik and jojosho's posts and all I saw was some sort of registry cleaner. Who are these people? LOL

I *think* if you select "captcha" in your blog settings, so that people have to type the word that pops up, *maybe* the strange posts will subside.

In any case--I'm just posting to check up on you because I haven't seen you post anything recently. :) I hope all is well with you and yours!
